Dash Paragraph

I am learning to write a dash paragraph.
I was able to describe the house.
I found it tricky to do the speech because I didn't Know what to make them say.
Next time I am going to work on the ending.

The Young Ecoleader

I am learning to identify different uses of colloquial language in the text.
I was able to finds Quotes from the Story and add a meaning.
I found it easy because we practiced it with the group.

Decimal Place Value

I am learning about decimals.
I was able to order the numbers from smallest to greatest.
I found this easy because I learnt this at the beginning of the year.
My next step is to work with higher numbers.

Tinker

Today I did Tinker cad.
 I found it hard.
Next time I want to finish it.

Nouns

I am learning about nouns.
I can now label what any type of noun.
I found it easy because I had learnt it before.
Next time I am going to learn the difference between concrete,abstract and collective nouns.

Letter

Reflection
I am learning to write a letter from the perspective of a soldier.
I was able to pretend I was a soldier well I was writing.
I find it tricky to write a tricky to write a normal letter.
Next time I will try writing a normal letter.

Bar graphs

My reflection

I am learning to label bar graphs.
I can now label a graph correctly and answer questions.
I found it easy to label the different parts but it was tricky labeling the x and y axis.
Next time I could make my on graph.

All About Me

 

I am learning to write 4 paragraphs about me.

I can now write 4 paragraphs about me in 3 or 4 sentences.  

I found it tricky to write about something that makes me laugh because I don't really laugh much.

Main Idea

Reflection

I am learning to identify the main idea.
I was able to identify the main idea of a paragraph by looking for what the paragraph is mostly about.
I found it easy to find the main idea quickly.
Next time I will try to add some more detail.

Welcome Post 2019

Welcome to my learning blog for year 5 in 2019. This year I am in Room 25. My teacher is Miss D'Souza. I enjoy reading, guitar, sailing, singing, dancing. My goal for this year is to get better at my math and get a official pen licences.. I am looking forward to doing more science, art and technology this year.
