Persuasive Writing

I was learning to write persuasive piece of writing. I can think of lots reasons why Ice-Cream is better than Chocolate. It was easy to think that Ice-Cream is better than Chocolate because Ice-cream is very yummy!

Youthtown

I love Youthtown because I always learn something new like games or a new. At Youthtown I learnt a new skill called crab walk My favorite game that we have played is cat and mouse.

Telling Time

I was learning to understand 24 hour time and write the time in numbers and words. I can read the tie on the clock and write it in digital time then in words. It was easy because I had already learnt to tell the time.

Art Exhibition.

Antonyms and Synonyms

I was learning to recognise a range of language feature. I can identify different language features and I understand the meaning of different language features. It was tricky to find antonyms and synonyms because we were unsure of the meaning of the word.

Acrostic Poem

I was learning to write an acrostic poem. I can write an acrostic poem on Halloween. It was easy to write an acrostic poem because there is are lots of things that we can say about the topic; Halloween.

The Builder's Pet

I was learning to make and justify inferences. I can identify and describe what the author wanted me to feel,think about or see in the text. It was easy because I read the book carefully.

Halve It!

I was learning to find out what half of the number was.
I can divide number by two.
It was easy because we were only splitting the number into two groups.

Word Mania

I was learning to make words using the different letters.
I can make lots of words using the letter provided.
It was easy because there was lots of letters to chose from.

Chinese Cultural Lessons

Contractions

I was learning how to make contraction. I can make two longer words into one shorter word. It was easy because the new word had parts of the two words in it.

Punctuation Marks

I was learning about punctuation marks.I know when to use each punctuation mark. It was easy because we have been practicing using punctuation.

Making Inferences

I was learning to make inferences. I can identify and describe what the author wanted me to feel,think about or see in the text. It was tricky because it was not always easy to find the clues in the text.

Place Value

I was learning about place value. I can identify how many hundreds,tens and ones were in 3 digit numbers. It was easy because the video we watched in class explained place value well.

Making Connections

I was leaning to make connections. I can use my personal experiences to make connections. It was easy to make connections because the Grandad in the story is like my Grandad.

Counting Forwards and Backwards in 10's

I was learning to count forwards and backwards in 10's. I can skip count forwards and backwards starting from any number. It was easy to skip count forwards and backwards in 10's because I have learnt how to do it before.

Road Safety

1.Stop,look,listen before you cross the road. 2.Always make your set belt clik,clik,clik.

Vowel Sounds

I was learning about the short and long vowel sounds. I can tell the difference between the long and short vowel sounds. It was easy to tell difference between the vowel sounds because the video explained it well.

Skip Counting.

I was learning how to skip count in 2's and 5's. I can skip count in 5's to 100. It was easy to skip count in 5's Because I have learnt how to do it before. It was tricky to count in 2's because I only learnt how to do it up to 20.

Summarising lnfrormation

I was learning to summarise information. I can summarise information in my own words. It is easy to summarise information because I have learnt how n to do it before.
